It was two fantastic days at Lockhart on the weekend of 13th to 14th of October. The weather was dry, sunny and relatively cool, which was great for the festival but not quite what the district crops needed. Again, there were some outstanding creations in metal which makes the festival a ‘must see’ for rural regional arts. You will never look at that rusty bit of scrap metal as a bit of junk again, but now perhaps an addition to some sculpture masterpiece.

The festival was well attended and the main street was packed with people and exhibitors, including ourselves with craft and food items for sale. Well organised, the festival also combined with Taste Riverina Food Festival as promoting fresh regional foods. (More photos on our Facebook page.)
